Description:
15 Acre day school and synagogue complex composed of five main buildings, sports fields, and courtyards.
Role:
Phase V, Frank And Jodi Hessel Family Youth Center - 21,000 sq. ft. of interior and exterior renovations to the existing main sanctuary. Transformed into a 350-seat new auditorium and a new indoor gymnasium with retractable bleachers, air conditioning, and a movable partition separating the auditorium. New state-of-the-art teaching kitchen along with a dining facility for students. Architecture by BEA.
Phase VI, Rambam Center – 22,000 sq. ft. of interior and exterior renovations. First floor transformed into a library and studies center. New state-of-the-art computer room, children’s reading section, and adult reading section. Second floor transformed to eight large classrooms for use of day school. Classrooms include the latest teaching equipment , use of natural lighting, and spacious furniture. Architecture by BEA.
Phase VII – Demolition of existing 8,300 sq. ft. administration building. Transformed into an open courtyard landscaped throughout. Construction of a 1,500 sq. ft. concrete covered walkway interconnecting various buildings to the student carpool. Accent lighting, architectural soffits, outdoor seating, and a exposed-truss gabled roof round out the project. Architecture by BEA.
